REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

Effective Date: 05-01-2024

At Insight Overview, we are committed to delivering high-quality services that meet the specific needs and scope agreed upon with each client. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may or may not be granted.

1. Scope of Services

Before starting any project, a detailed scope of work will be provided and agreed upon by both Insight Overview and the client. This scope will outline the deliverables, timelines, and expectations for the project. By agreeing to the scope, the client acknowledges and accepts that no major changes will be made without additional fees or adjustments to the terms.

2. No Refunds After Work Has Begun

  • Investment of Time: Once Insight Overview begins work on a project based on the agreed scope, no refunds will be issued. This is because significant time and resources are dedicated to understanding your business needs, developing solutions, and delivering a customized product.

  • Approval of Scope: By agreeing to the project scope, the client confirms that they understand the nature of the services being provided and agree to the terms. Changes to the scope may be made only by mutual agreement, and additional fees may apply.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Project Cancellation Before Work Commences: If the client cancels the project before any work has started, they may be eligible for a refund of any advance payments made, minus any administrative or planning fees that may have been incurred during the consultation and scoping phase.
  • Service Not Delivered: In rare cases where Insight Overview is unable to deliver the agreed-upon services due to internal reasons, a partial or full refund may be considered. This does not apply if the failure to deliver is due to the client’s failure to provide necessary access, data, or credentials.

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable:

  • Consultation Fees: Any initial consultation or advisory services provided before project commencement are non-refundable.
  • Customization and Development Work: Once work on the dashboard, template, or data-related project has started, refunds will not be issued, even if the client decides not to use the final product.

5. Scope Changes and Revisions

  • Change Requests: Any changes to the original scope of the project requested by the client after work has begun will be treated as new work and may incur additional charges. This includes requests for new features, major revisions, or modifications that were not outlined in the initial agreement.
  • Minor Adjustments: Minor adjustments and corrections within the original agreed scope are included in the service. However, Insight Overview reserves the right to define what constitutes a “minor” adjustment.

6. Dissatisfaction and Dispute Resolution

If the client is dissatisfied with the final product, Insight Overview will work to address concerns within the agreed scope of work. Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with results once the project is completed and delivered according to the scope.

  • Dispute Process: Should a disagreement arise, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue amicably before seeking any legal action. In cases where mutual agreement cannot be reached, further action will follow the terms outlined in the contract.
